Council Minutes of 05-03-2023 <br />City, it will also improve the structural liabilities of our City buildings and put people to work in our City. <br />It is a win, win, win, for this City and thanked the Administration for bringing this forward. <br />Mr. Limpert voted yes with comment to add that this is a great initiative with a vendor who will provide <br />key performance metrics basically guaranteeing the amount will be funded in full, and it is a crafty way <br />to insure competent contractors working are working on the projects to save money for other capital <br />assets. Further, Mr. Limpert reiterated that every time we acquire another capital asset, those need to <br />be maintained and this is a good way to do it, and encouraged the Administration to continue to <br />monitor those costs to maintain those capital assets. <br />Ms. Hemann voted yes with comment to state that she agrees this is a wonderful project and thanked <br />Mr. Upton for bringing this forward on behalf of the Administration and thanked the Mayor in finding <br />talented Directors to put our City in a forward moving state. <br />Ordinance 2023-51 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its third reading. An Ordinance providing for <br />the issuance and sale of not to exceed $4,000,000 of Notes, in anticipation of the issuance of Bonds, to <br />provide funds to pay costs of acquiring and installing energy conservation measures in City Buildings and <br />Facilities, together with all necessary appurtenances thereto. <br />Councilman Glassburn moved for adoption. An Ordinance Amending <br />Section 1118.13 of the Planning and Zoning Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North <br />Olmsted entitled, "Offices and Services", in order to limit the location of specified uses. <br />Ordinance 2023-48 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its second reading. An Ordinance amending <br />Section 139.99(b) of Chapter 139 of the Administrative Code entitled "Department of Public Safety," for <br />the purpose of creating a new full-time position of Information Systems Specialist in the Division of <br />Police, and declaring an emergency. <br />Councilwoman Williamson moved to suspend the rules requiring three readings.
