Council Minutes of 10-17-2023 <br />Chris Kmiecik <br />23727 Elm Road <br />Ms. Kmiecik noted she and her family oppose the cell tower at the park. She explained why she felt a <br />cell tower in the park within a few hundred feet of many homes is detrimental to our heath. She <br />continued on to read literature regarding radio waves and possible issues they cause to one's health. <br />LEGISLATION <br />Resolution 2023-100 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its third reading. A Resolution authorizing <br />the Director of Recreation and Public Engagement to advertise for bids for the award of a contract to <br />provide construction services for the Springvale Dredging Project, as detailed in specifications on file, <br />and authorizing the Mayor, following approval by the Board of Control, to enter into a contract for same <br />with the lowest and best bidder. <br />Councilwoman Hemann moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Scarl and passed <br />7-0. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Hamann, Scarl, Williamson, Limpert, Glassburn, Gilchrist, Madden. <br />No: None <br />Motion carried. Resolution 2023-101 adopted 7-0. <br />Ordinance 2023-94 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its second reading. An ordinance directing that <br />the real property owned by the City of North Olmsted and known as .6615 .6629 acres, or 28,,816 <br />28,876 square feet, of Permanent Parcel Number 233-26-063 which is presently undeveloped property <br />but is no longer needed for Municipal purposes be sold to BOW Properties, LLC. further authorizing the <br />Mayor to execute a Purchase and Sale Agreement and all other documents required to effectuate said <br />sale, as Amended. <br />Councilman Glassburn moved to suspend the rules requiring three readings.
