Council Minutes of 10-17-2023 <br />Jeff Sturgeon <br />3092 West 231°Street <br />Mr. Sturgeon asked where exactly the parcel was located. Councilman Glassburn responded by stating <br />the property is north of the current Weber Automotive property, on Lorain Road, near Stearns. Mr. <br />Sturgeon asked if Weber was using the property for their business, to which Councilman Glassburn <br />responded yes. <br />Councilman Limpert moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and passed <br />7-0. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Glassburn, Limpert, Gilchrist, Williamson, Scarl, Madden, Hemann <br />No: None <br />Motion carried. Ordinance 2023-94 adopted 7-0. <br />Resolution 2023-103 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its second reading. A Resolution authorizing <br />the Mayor to enter into a contract with Advanced Asphalt Paving, Inc. to provide services to the parking <br />area at Fire Station II at a cost of $19,900.00. <br />Ordinance 2023-105 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its second reading. An Ordinance to <br />authorize the appropriation of $82,500.00 for the North Olmsted Safe & Healthy Homes — Home Repair <br />Program Fund, subject to reimbursement by the Northeast Ohio Public Energy Council ("NOPEC") <br />Energized Community Grant Program, and declaring an emergency. <br />Councilman Madden moved to suspend the rules requiring three readings. An Ordinance accepting a <br />0.0048 Acre Permanent Right -Of -Way Easement acquired for a public purpose, to wit: the <br />establishment, construction, reconstruction, widening, repair or maintenance of Clague Road, from Kyle <br />Wells and Kathryn Wells on property known as Permanent Parcel Number 231-30-068, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Councilman Glassburn moved to suspend the rules requiring three readings.
