Council Minutes of 11-08-2023 <br />COMMUNICATIONS <br />None. <br />AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION <br />Matt Marne <br />23117 Clifford Drive <br />Mr. Marrie came to Council to thank his friends and family who provided support while running for <br />Council At -Large. He also congratulated those who won, and noted he plans to stay engaged and do <br />what he can for the community. <br />Chris Kmiecik <br />23727 Elm Road <br />Ms. Kmiecik opposes the cell tower at the North Olmsted Community Park. She provided her thoughts <br />on the negative effects on health and property values, and questioned the manner in which the <br />legislation passed. She provided the Clerk with a peer review document to be distributed to Council, <br />the Administration and the representative at TowerCo (#1 attached to minutes(. <br />Dave Herod <br />5283 Evergreen Drive <br />Mr. Herod came to speak to Council regarding the cell phone tower at the park. He read an excerpt <br />from the City Council webpage. He felt this legislation was passed without any representation. He feels <br />it will have a negative impact on property values and health issues. <br />Janice Denham <br />5129 E. Park Drive <br />Ms. Denham has lived in North Olmsted since 1986, and she feels it is unconscionable that the residents <br />were not informed when the cell tower was first being discussed. She feels let down that the <br />Administration let an outside company dictate what goes in to the park. <br />Sandy Johnston <br />5086 W. Park Drive <br />Ms. Johnston also came to address Council regarding the cell phone tower. She stated that she does not <br />want to look out her window and see a cell phone tower. She was upset that her house value will go <br />down and the City will make money. She read from Section 1151.04 from the codified ordinances (k2 <br />attached to minutes(. <br />Rick Fadenholz <br />4989 E. Park Drive <br />Mr. Fadenholz also stated that he is across from the volleyball courts too, and is not happy; he believes <br />there are better ways to raise revenue, such as concession stands. <br />
