Council Minutes of 31-08-2023 <br />Cynthia Krismanth <br />5104 W. Park Drive <br />Ms. Krismanth came convey her opposition to the cell phone tower and further explained how she is <br />disappointed that notification was not sent to the residents. Ms. Krismanth does not want to see the <br />tower when she looks out her door and feels it will bring down her property value. <br />Connie English <br />5009 E. Park Drive <br />Ms. English thanked the first responders who came to the aid at the Alden Drive House. She feels the <br />City is only concerned about the money and not the residents when it comes to the cell tower. She <br />feels it wasn't legislated responsibly. <br />Mike Babinec <br />27981 N. Park Drive <br />Mr. Babinec also came to add that he is also not happy about the cell tower. He said the residents are <br />not opposed to a cell tower, but just opposed to where it is being placed. He asked the TowerCo <br />representative if cell reception is worse at the base of the tower, and the representative said yes, but <br />they can adjust that if needed, he asked the Administration to look into several points. <br />Terry Czarnecki <br />5109 E. Park Drive <br />Ms. Czarnecki came to address Council with her concerns opposing the cell tower. She feels the <br />information was wrong when voted on, and because of that, believes there should be a re -vote. Ms. <br />Czarnecki is also concerned with property values. <br />Elaine McDonald <br />5284 W. Park Drive <br />Ms. McDonald is against the cell tower; she lives across from the first baseball diamond. Her husband <br />found a property owned by the City of North Olmsted, that is almost an acre and asked why the cell <br />tower can't go there (#3 attached to minutes). <br />LEGISLATION <br />Resolution 2023-103 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its third reading. A Resolution authorizing <br />the Mayor to enter into a contract with Advanced Asphalt Paving, Inc. to provide services to the parking <br />area at Fire Station II at a cost of $19,900.00. <br />Councilman Limpert moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and passed <br />5-0. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Limpert, Glassburn, Hemann, Madden, Scarl <br />No: None <br />Motion carried. Resolution 2023-103 adopted 5-0. <br />
