An Ordinance accepting a 0.0006 -acre permanent right-of-way easement acquired for a public purpose, to wit: the establishment, construction, reconstruction, widening, repair or maintenance of Clague Road, from Richard T. Barber, ll, on property known as Permanent Parcel Number 231- 24-014, and declaring an emergency. Resolution 2023-130 introduced by Mayor Jones, placed on first reading and suspension of the rules requiring three readings and formal committee review. A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with PDQ.com Corporation to provide computer software described as Smart Deploy at a cost of $6,372.00, and to further authorize two (2), one (1) year renewal options, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Glassburn moved to suspend the rules requiring three readings and formal Committee review. The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and passed 5-0. Ordinance 2023-132 introduced by Mayor Jones and placed on first reading. Amending Ordinance No. 2012-72 to add to the property subject to the exemption granted therein and to extend the exemption from taxation for certain parcels in the city; and declaring an emergency. Council President Brossard scheduled a Special Council Meeting on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at 7:10 p.m. to allow Ordinance 2023-126 to have its second reading.
