Council Minutes of 31-21-2023 <br />Ordinance 2023-133 introduced by Mayor Jones and placed on first reading. An Ordinance restating the <br />rates of compensation for administrative personnel for the year 2023; and otherwise establishing the <br />compensation rates and descriptions for various administrative and legislative personnel for the year <br />2024, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance 2023-134 introduced by Mayor Jones and placed on first reading. An Ordinance to make and <br />transfer appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for <br />the year ending December 31, 2024 and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance 2023-135 introduced by Council President Brossard on behalf of All of Council and placed on <br />first reading. An Ordinance dispensing with the RFP process otherwise required by Sections 111.03 et <br />seq. of the Administrative Code and authorizing the Mayor, subject to approval of the Board of Control, <br />if necessary, to enter into a two-year agreement with American Legal Publishing Corporation for the <br />purpose of providing ordinance codification services to the City of North Olmsted, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Ordinance 2023-136 introduced by Mayor Jones and placed on first reading. An Ordinance authorizing <br />the Mayor to enter into contracts for the deposit of public monies with the institutions designated by <br />Council as depositories for the active and interim account of the City, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution 2023-137 introduced by Mayor Jones and placed on first reading. A Resolution authorizing <br />the Mayor to enter into a one year contract with TAC Computer, Inc. in order to provide maintenance <br />and repair services to computer hardware and software in the North Olmsted Fire Department, and <br />declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution 2023-138 introduced by Mayor Jones and placed on first reading. A Resolution authorizing <br />the Mayor to enter into a one year contract with TAC Computer, Inc. in order to provide maintenance <br />and repair services to computer hardware and software in the North Olmsted Police Department, and <br />declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution 2023-139 introduced by Mayor Jones and placed on first reading. A Resolution authorizing <br />the Director of Public Safety to advertise for bids for the award of a contract to provide fire prevention <br />services, as detailed in the specifications on file, and authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the <br />Board of Control, to contract for the same with the lowest and best bidder, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution 2023-140 introduced by Mayor Jones and placed on first reading. A Resolution authorizing <br />the City of North Olmsted to apply for Community Development Supplemental Grant (CDSG) funding in <br />the amount of Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00) for renovation of restroom facilities at North Olmsted <br />Community Park and, if awarded, further authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement to accept <br />the grant funds, and declaring an emergency. <br />Councilman Glassburn moved to suspend the rules requiring three readings and formal committee <br />review. The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and passed 7-0. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Glassburn, Limpert, Hemann, Gilchrist, Scarl, Williamson, Madden <br />No: None <br />Motion carried. <br />
