Council Minutes of 12-19-2023 <br />project and for funding the start-up of the CIC. The legislation was favorably recommended <br />with suspension 2-0, and the Committee Meeting concluded at 7:39 p.m. <br />Councilman Glassburn moved to amend 2023-145. The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert <br />and passed 6-0. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Glassburn, Limpert, Madden, Scarl, Williamson, Gilchrist <br />No: None <br />• Motion carried. <br />Councilman Scarl, Chairman of the Environmental Control Committee did not have a report but asked <br />for a moment of personal privilege to thank Councilwoman Williamson for her years of service and <br />wished her the best. <br />Councilwoman Gilchrist, Chairwoman of the Intra -Governmental Relations Committee did not have a <br />report but asked for a moment of personal privilege to thank Councilwoman Williamson for her service. <br />Councilman Madden, Chairman of the Streets and Transportation Committee did not have a report but <br />asked for a moment of personal privilege to thank Councilwoman Williamson for her service. <br />None. <br />Janice Denham <br />5129 E. Park Drive <br />Ms. Denham came to Council to discuss the health problems that could be caused by wireless radiation <br />that have been ignored by the FCC. Ms. Denham opposes the cell phone tower at the North Olmsted <br />Community Park. She would like to have the City write into the contract that TowerCo will be <br />responsible for expenses should the resident experience health issues or to pay for the expense to <br />fortify their homes against wireless radiation. <br />Lori Casciani <br />3887 Canterbury Road <br />Ms. Casciani came to Council to address the Deer Management Program in North Olmsted. She said the <br />police are on her property when they shoot the deer and that her grandchildren have seen the police <br />with guns behind her house. She is opposed to the deer culling. She feels the letter sent regarding the <br />Deer Management Program should have been sent to everyone in the City. <br />Safety Director Scofield responded to Ms. Casciani's concerns and provided Council information and <br />corresponding map with regards to same, which are attached to these minutes. <br />Councilwoman Williamson asked if there was an issue with the survey website, noting one of her <br />residents stated she had an issue, and that Councilman Limpert had heard same from one of his <br />residents. Director Scofield stated that she will look into having the survey put back up, while being <br />sensitive to the start timeline. She doesn't believe there was an issue with the online survey, but will <br />look into it. <br />
