Council Minutes of 12-19-2023 <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Glassburn, Limpert, Gilchrist, Madden, Williamson, Scarl <br />No: None <br />Motion carried. <br />Mr. Limpert voted yes with comment that he is looking forward to these improvements and a budget, <br />and hope R continues for more than one year. <br />Connie English approached the podium to ask what the neighborhood beautification project is. Mayor <br />Jones responded the program is something new that the Community Improvement Corporation will be <br />taking on. Council and the Administration have been trying to help neighborhoods struggling with <br />common areas, such as signs, in order to improve those areas. Director Copfer added that the <br />beautification program cost is $25,000.00, and the rest of the funds are to assist with the start-up of the <br />CIC. <br />Councilman Glassburn moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and <br />passed 6-0. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Glassburn, Limpert, Gilchrist, Scarl, Williamson, Madden <br />No: None <br />Motion carried. Resolution 2023-146 adopted 6-0. <br />Ordinance 2023-147 introduced by Council President Brossard on behalf of all of Council. An Ordinance <br />to revise the Codified Ordinances by adopting current replacement pages; and declaring an emergency. <br />Councilman Glassburn moved to suspend the rules requiring three readings and formal committee <br />review. The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and passed 6-0. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Glassburn, Limpert, Madden, Scarl, Gilchrist, Williamson <br />No: None <br />Motion carried. <br />Mr. Limpert voted yes with comment to note that Council is suspending the rules for this legislation to <br />ensure all legislation is able to be included in the last update for the year. <br />Councilman Glassburn moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and <br />passed 6-0. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Glassburn, Limpert, Madden, Scarl, Gilchrist, Williamson <br />No: None <br />Motion carried. Ordinance 2023-147 adopted 6-0. <br />Resolution 2023-148 introduced by Mayor Jones and placed on first reading. A Resolution authorizing <br />the Mayor of City of North Olmsted to apply to The State of Ohio, Department of Development for grant <br />
