Council Minutes of 03-03-2024 <br />Connie English <br />5009 E. Park Drive <br />Ms. English came to Council to state her concerns and objections to the cell phone tower at the park. <br />Ms. English provided a hand-out to the Clerk to be distributed to Council, which is attached to these <br />minutes, as well as a Records Request addressed to Director Upton. <br />Terry Czarnecki <br />5109 E. Park Drive <br />Ms. Czarnecki came to Council to state her concerns and objections to the cell phone tower at the park. <br />Chris Kmiecik <br />23727 Elm Road <br />Ms. Kmiecik came to Council to state her concerns and objections to the cell phone tower at the park. <br />Ms. Kmiecik asked Council what the difference was between an Amendment and a Repeal. <br />Assistant Law Director O'Malley answered by saying a Repeal is after a matter has been passed, and an <br />Amendment is a change to legislation still before the body. <br />Ms. Kmiecik also spoke on the Deer Management Program asking two questions of Council. <br />Director Scofield responded by stating there were 13 additional people who responded to the second <br />posting of the survey, and that the reposting of the survey was made public at the last Council Meeting. <br />Lori Casciani <br />3887 Canterbury Road <br />Ms. Casciani came to Council to state her concerns and objections with the Deer Management project. <br />Ms. Casciani felt there were errors from the last meeting's minutes. Ms. Casciani provided a hand-out <br />to Council, which was handed to Council via the Clerk at the meeting, a copy is attached to these <br />minutes. <br />David Herod <br />5283 Evergreen Drive <br />Mr. Herod came to Council to state his concerns and objections to the cell phone tower at the park. <br />Sandy Johnston <br />5086 W. Park Drive <br />Ms. Johnston addressed Council again to ask how money for pickle ball courts is sought out, but not <br />money for the park. <br />LEGISLATION <br />Ordinance 2023-145 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its third reading. An Ordinance to make <br />appropriations for capital improvements for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, <br />2024, as Amended. <br />Councilman Glassburn moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Scarl and passed <br />4-0. <br />
