Employees hired by the City may be credited with vacation service <br />credit in addition to City time based upon the schedule and receive credit for any accepted <br />prior years of service, including but not limited date of transfer to the City. This provision for <br />Laterals Transfers shall effect Vacation only and shall not alter the date of hire or seniority of <br />said employees relative to any other benefits or preferences. <br />ARTICLE 22 HOLIDAYS <br />22.01. Holidays Observed If any of the above holidays fall on a Saturday or a Sunday, either <br />the previous Friday or the following Monday shall be observed as the holiday, except that where <br />employees at the Wastewater Plant (which maintains a 7 -day operation) normally work a rotating <br />shift, the holiday shall be observed on its actual day. Rate of Pay for Holiday Work/Personal Day Work <br />A) Employees in non -24 hour operation: Employees in non 24/7 operations are scheduled <br />off oa holidays, and receive holiday pay for the day subject to Section 22.06.
