<br />• Discussed PDC Case No. 23-24866 Chipotle, located at 23459 Lorain Road. Which is a new
<br />concept called Chipoltlane, which focuses on a drive-thru lane exclusively for online order pick-
<br />ups only; it also has an area to order inside. Councilman Limpert noted that a discussion was
<br />had with regard to the traffic pattern entering the establishment, and exiting on to Clague, to
<br />which the Economic Development Director advised that it passed the line of sight testing. A
<br />discussion was also discussed with regard to the building materials used and it was determined
<br />that all were within code. The legislation was favorably recommended by a vote of 2-1.
<br />Councilman Limpert moved to approve PDC Case Number 23-24866 Chipotle, located at 23459 Lorain
<br />Road. The motion was seconded by Councilman Glassburn and passed 7-0.

<br />Motion carried. PDC Case 23-24866 approved by a vote of 7-0.
<br />• Discussed the Lorain Road Corridor Study from the Planning and Design Commission. After a
<br />presentation and some discussion on the study, the legislation was held in Committee by a vote
<br />of 3-0.
<br />• Lastly the Committee discussed Ordinance 2024-10. An Ordinance amending Ordinance 2022-
<br />68 in order to modify the "Fix Our Fronts" Storefront Renovation Grant Program by creating a
<br />new category of permissible grants and further authorizing the Mayor to issue grants to
<br />approved grantees, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Limpert stated a discussion was
<br />had to change the maximum from $20,000 to $50,000 for signage for projects with a minimum
<br />cost of $4M. The legislation was held in Committee by a vote of 3-0, and the Committee
<br />Meeting concluded at 9:48 p.m.
<br />The Building, Zoning and Development Committee met again on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at 7:31
<br />p.m. Present were Committee Members Limpert, Glassburn and Hemann and Council Members Scarl,
<br />Madden, Gilchrist and Shymske, Council President Brossard, Mayor Jones, Law Director Gareau, Finance
<br />Director Copfer, Human Resources Director Kidd, Safety Director Scofield, Service Director Kearney,
<br />Recreation and Public Engagement Director Pinchek, Assistant Finance Director Sperling, Special
<br />Assistant to the Mayor Massarolo and guests.
<br />• The Committee Meeting was opened and Councilman Limpert stated that the Economic
<br />Development Director asked that Ordinance 2024-10 be held in Committee for another week.
<br />The Committee voted 3-0 to hold in Committee, and the Committee Meeting concluded at 7:32
<br />p.m.
<br />Councilman Limpert moved to remove Ordinance 2024-10 from the Agenda. The motion was seconded
<br />by Councilman Glassburn and passed 7-0.
