Council Minutes of 03-20-2024 <br />Ordinance 2024-26 was introduced by Mayor Jones and placed on first reading. An Ordinance <br />authorizing the Mayor to enter into an amended agreement for the establishment of the Westshore <br />Council of Governments, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution 2024-27 was introduced by Mayor Jones and placed on first reading. A Resolution authorizing <br />the Mayor to enter into a contract with Mad Bomber Fireworks Productions to provide a fireworks <br />display for 2024, and declaring an emergency. <br />Councilman Limpert scheduled a Building, Zoning and Development Committee meeting for Tuesday, <br />March 26, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. to discuss PDC Case 24-23689. The Mayor and/or designee and the <br />Economic Development Director were asked to attend. <br />Councilman Scarl scheduled a Public Safety, Health and Welfare Committee meeting for Tuesday, March <br />26, 2024 at 7:15 p.m. to discuss Liquor Permit 6381503. The Mayor and/or designee were asked to <br />attend. <br />Councilman Madden scheduled an Intra -Governmental Relations Committee meeting Tuesday, March <br />26, 2024 at 7:20 p.m. to discuss the Mayor's reappointment to Landmark's Commission, Gretchen <br />Schuler. The Mayor and/or designee were asked to attend. <br />Councilman Glassburn scheduled a Finance Committee meeting for Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at 7:30 <br />p.m. to discuss Ordinances 2024-23, 2024-24, 2024-25, 2024-26 and R. 2024-27. The Mayor and/or <br />designee, and the Director of Finance were asked to attend. <br />Councilman Shymske scheduled an Environmental Control Committee meeting for Tuesday, March 26, <br />2024 at 7:25 p.m. to discuss O. 2024-19. The Mayor and/or designee, the Law Director and Economic <br />Development Director were asked to attend. <br />Council President Brossard announced as a reminder that Council Meetings will begin at 7:30 p.m., with <br />Caucus at 7:15, beginning on May 7, 2024. <br />Councilman Limpert moved to adjourn into Executive Session to consider the sale of property, and to <br />include the Administration and the Special Assistant to the Mayor. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Scarl and passed 7-0. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Limpert, Scarl, Shymske, Madden, Gilchrist, Glassburn, Hemann <br />No: None <br />Motion carried. <br />Council President Brossard asked all of Council and the Administration to adjourn into Executive Session <br />beginning at 9:02 p.m. <br />Council President Brossard adjourned the Executive Session at 9:45 p.m. and resumed the regular <br />Council meeting also at 9:45 p.m. <br />
