Council Minutes of 03-20-2024 Ordinance 2024-21 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its second reading. An Ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into a Development and TIF Reimbursement Agreement with Star West Great Northern I.L.C. Ordinance 2024-22 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its second reading. An Ordinance designating revenue derived from the lease of a site for the establishment of a cellular tower at the North Olmsted Park, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Glassburn moved to suspend the rule requiring three readings. The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and passed 7-0. Roll Call: Yes: Glassburn, Limpert, Hemann, Gilchrist, Madden, Scarl, Shymske No: None Motion carried. Councilman Glassburn moved for adoption. Ordinance 2024-23 was introduced by Mayor Jones and placed on first reading. An Ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of not to exceed $3,800,000 of Notes, in anticipation of the issuance of Bonds, to provide funds to pay costs of acquiring and installing energy conservation measures in City buildings and facilities, together with all necessary appurtenances thereto. Councilman Glassburn announced that he is in possession of the signed Fiscal Officer Certificate. Ordinance 2024-24 was introduced by Mayor Jones and placed on first reading. An Ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of not to exceed $6,150,000 of Notes, in anticipation of the issuance of Bonds, to provide funds to pay costs of improving the City's parks and recreational facilities, including the Senior Center, by constructing, installing, furnishing, equipping and improving basketball courts, baseball facilities, playgrounds, multi-purpose fields, trails, and parking lots, and otherwise improving parks and recreational facilities, together with all necessary appurtenances thereto, and clearing, equipping and improving the sites thereof. Councilman Glassburn announced that he is in possession of the signed Fiscal Officer Certificate. Ordinance 2024-25 was introduced by Mayor Jones and placed on first reading. An Ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of not to exceed $625,000 of Notes, in anticipation of the issuance of Bonds, to provide funds to pay costs of constructing, reconstructing, furnishing, equipping and otherwise improving the City's fire stations, together with all necessary appurtenances thereto.
