Council Minutes of 05-07-2024 Ordinance 2024-32 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its third reading. An Ordinance dispensing with a formal RFP process and authorizing the Mayor to enter into an Agreement with Hope Meadows Foundation to provide Mental Health and Wellness Services for use by North Olmsted Safety Forces in the amount of $30,630.00, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Scarl moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Hemann and passed 7-0. Roll Call: Yes: Scarl, Hemann, Gilchrist, Madden, Shymske, Limpert, Glassburn No: None Motion carried. Ordinance 2024-32 adopted 7-0. Resolution 2024-33 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its third reading. A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a three year Agreement with Everbridge, Inc., to provide text messaging services, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Glassburn moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and passed 7-0. Roll Call: Yes: Glassburn, Limpert, Gilchrist, Shymske, Hemann, Scarl, Madden No: None Motion carried. Resolution 2024-33 adopted 7-0. Ordinance 2024-30 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its second reading. An Ordinance to make Appropriations for Capital Improvements for the City of North Olmsted Fire Station 1 for the Year Ending December 31, 2024. Ordinance 2024-35 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its second reading. An Ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into a First Amendment to the agreement between the County of Cuyahoga and the City of North Olmsted for the resurfacing of Clague Road from Lorain Road to Marion Road, and declaring an emergency. Resolution 2024-37 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its second reading. A Resolution approving of and authorizing the Mayor to enter into a Collective Bargaining Agreement ("CBA") with the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees ("AFSCME") Local 2681, Clerical & Technical Unit, for the period January 1, 2024, through December 31, 2026. Councilman Glassburn moved to suspend the rule requiring three readings. The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and passed 7-0. Roll Call: Yes: Glassburn, Limpert, Shymske, Gilchrist, Hemann, Madden No: None Abstain: Scarl Motion carried.
