<br />The Building, Zoning and Development Committee also met again on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at 7:05
<br />p.m. Present were Committee Members Limpert, Glassburn and Gilchrist and Council Members Scarl,
<br />Hemann and Shymske, Council President Brossard, Mayor Jones, Law Director Gareau, Finance Director
<br />Copfer, Human Resources Director Kidd, Director of Economic and Community Development Upton,
<br />Safety Director Scofield, Service Director Kearney, Recreation and Public Engagement Director Pinchek,
<br />Special Assistant to the Mayor Massarolo and guests.
<br />• Discussed PDC Case 23689-PO10 Woodland Grove. Councilman Limpert reported after a
<br />discussion regarding the sidewalk, Director Upton noted that the developers proposed to create
<br />an asphalt sidewalk along the Barton Woods side of the development. The legislation was
<br />favorably recommended 3-0 and the Committee concluded at 7:08 p.m.
<br />Councilman Limpert moved for approval of PDC Case 23689-POIO Woodland Grove as amended. The
<br />motion was seconded by Councilman Glassburn and passed 6-0.

<br />The Law Director asked for the Floor to note that he would like the record to reflect the exact location of
<br />the sidewalk, once the amendment has been updated to include the sidewalk, he asked that the
<br />minutes reflect the specific amendments in detail. (Per Director Gareou's comments, a copy of the
<br />amendments are attached to these minutes).

<br />The Recreation, Public Parks and Buildings Committee met on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at 7:26 p.m.
<br />Present were Committee Members Hemann, Scad and Limpert and Council Members Glassburn,
<br />Madden, Gilchrist and Shymske, Council President Brossard, Mayor Jones, Law Director Gareau, Finance
<br />Director Copfer, Human Resources Director Kidd, Director of Economic and Community Development
<br />Upton, Safety Director Scofield, Service Director Kearney, Recreation and Public Engagement Director
<br />Pinchek, Special Assistant to the Mayor Massarolo and guests.
<br />• Discussed Resolution 2024-42. A Resolution authorizing the Director of Recreation and
<br />Public Engagement to initiate the process to conduct a Request for Proposals (RFPs) for
<br />cleaning services for Springvale Clubhouse and Ballroom, and authorizing the Mayor,
<br />following approval of the Board of Control, to contract for same with the best proposed
<br />contractor, and declaring an emergency. Councilwoman Hemann reported that Director
<br />Pinchek stated the current contract is expired and they are running on a month-to-
<br />month basis. Director Pinchek also noted that the contract has not been put out to bid
<br />in some time, and it is important that contracted services are competitive. The
