Ordinance 2024-35 adopted 6-0. <br />Ordinance 2024-38 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its third reading. An Ordinance authorizing the <br />Mayor to enter into an agreement with the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) to accept <br />state capital funding in the amount of $150,000.00 for the construction of improvements at the North <br />Olmsted Community Park, and declaring an emergency. <br />Councilman Glassburn moved for adoption. Ordinance 2024-38 adopted 6-0. <br />Ordinance 2024-40 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its second reading. An Ordinance establishing <br />new rates of compensation for administrative personnel amending rates for the Year 2024 (four percent <br />increase); retitling the Police Secretary Position to Administrative Assistant, creating a part-time <br />Property Room Manager within the Police Division and otherwise establishing the compensation rates <br />and descriptions for various Administrative and Legislative Personnel for the years 2025 (three percent <br />increase) and 2026 (three percent increase), and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution 2024-41 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its second reading. A Resolution dispensing <br />with the RFP process and authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with Microsoft to provide M365 <br />hosted email services -migration at a cost of $102,177.15, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution 2024-42 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its second reading. A Resolution authorizing <br />the Director of Recreation and Public Engagement to initiate the process to conduct a Request for <br />Proposals (RFPs) for cleaning services for Springvale Clubhouse and Ballroom, and authorizing the <br />Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to contract for same with the best proposed <br />contractor, and declaring an emergency. <br />Councilwoman Hemann moved to suspend the rules requiring three readings and formal Committee <br />review.
