Resolution 2024-42 adopted 6-0. <br />Resolution 2024-43 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its second reading. A Resolution dispensing <br />with the RFP process and authorizing the Director of Recreation and Public Engagement to enter into a <br />contract with Morgan Services, Inc. for linen laundry services at Springvale Ballroom, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Resolution 2024-44 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its second reading. A Resolution authorizing <br />the Director of Economic and Community Development to solicit Statements of Qualifications for <br />architectural firms to perform an historic preservation plan and architectural assessment for the Old <br />Town Hall pursuant to Secretary of the Interior Professional Qualifications Standards for Architectural <br />History. <br />Ordinance 2024-45 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its second reading. An Ordinance amending <br />and reestablishing Section 139.99(b) of Chapter 139 of the Administrative Code of the Codified <br />Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted entitled "Department of Public Safety," for the purposes of re - <br />titling an existing position of "Secretary" to "Administrative Assistant' and, further, creating a part time <br />position of "Property Room Manager' both reporting to the Chief of Police, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance 2024-46 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its second reading. An Ordinance amending <br />and reestablishing Section 139.99 of Chapter 139 of the Administrative Code of the Codified Ordinances <br />of the City of North Olmsted entitled "Department of Public Safety," for the purposes of amending the <br />organization chart for the Division of Police by adding language "(Up to 6)" Lieutenants, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Resolution 2024-49 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its second reading. A Resolution authorizing <br />the Director of Human Resources to solicit Requests for Qualifications (R.F.Q.$) for Civil Service Testing <br />companies for entry-level and promotional testing. <br />Resolution 2024-50 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its second reading. A Resolution approving <br />the award of a Job Creation Grant to J.L. Moore, Inc. and further authorizing the Mayor to enter into a <br />Grant Agreement; and declaring an emergency. <br />Councilman Limpert moved to suspend the rule requiring three readings.
