ARTICLE 4.316: <br />HOLIDAYS <br />SECTION 1. Designated Holidays/Holiday Pau All full-time employees shall receive the <br />following paid holidays: <br />New Years Day <br />Thanksgiving Day <br />Martin Luther King, Jr. Day <br />Veteran's Day <br />President's Day <br />Juneteenth <br />Easter <br />Christmas Day <br />Memorial Day <br />Independence Day <br />Good Friday <br />Labor Day <br />SECTION 2. Holiday Time. All full-time employees shall be entitled to the holidays listed in <br />Section 1 during the year and shall not be required to work on these holidays, unless scheduled to <br />work by the Chief of Police. In the event the employee either works or was not scheduled to work <br />for reasons other than holiday leave on one of the above listed holidays, then the employee shall <br />receive another day off from work to replace the holiday he worked or was not required to work <br />for reasons other than holiday leave. <br />SECTION 3. Rate ofPav for Holiday Work. Each employee shall receive time and one half their <br />regular hourly wage for all hours worked on a designated holiday <br />fess:._ time off:_ ,:__ -- -_ ..__-_.tete by the Chief _f Pole__ If any of the bargaining unit <br />members work on Thanksgiving or Christmas Day he/she shall be compensated at two times their <br />regular hourly rate of pay (double time compensation) for any and all hours worked within the <br />twenty-four (24) hour period of Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. <br />Section 4. Personal Day. Each employee will receive one (1) personal day to be scheduled off <br />in accordance with Police Department Policy. <br />ARTICLE 4917: <br />VACATIONS <br />SECTION 1.
