the administration of compensatory time underfederal law, which includes, but is not limited to <br />the right to schedule such time off or payoff compensatory time banks. <br />SECTION a 3. Compensatory Time Mavimum/Periodic Como Time BuydownlEmplovee <br />Cashout Procedure. The maximum amount of compensatory time that may be accumulated at <br />any given time is two hundred forty (240) hours. /n addition to any other cashom permitted <br />under this agreement, on January 15, April 15, July 15, and October 15 of each year, each <br />employee shall be paid for all overtime hours accumulated in excess of one hundred twenty (120) <br />hours of the three (3) calendar month period immediately prior to the above date of January 15, <br />April 15, July 15, and October 15. Any payment as set forth above shall be paid at the rate of pay <br />applicable to each employee. Employees are also permitted to elect to cashout compensatory <br />time banks during the year in accordance with the procedures established by the Finance <br />Department. (Moved from Overtime article) <br />ARTICLE 34: <br />MATRON DUTIES <br />SECTION 1. Every effort will be made to ensure that employees me used as a last resort for <br />matron duties. On duty female police officers, on duty secretaries, and on duty female auxiliary <br />officers, employed by the Employer, shall be contacted prior to an employee being <br />required/ordered to perform matron duties. The Employer further agrees that the members of the <br />bargaining unit will not be requested/ordered to perform matron duties for other area police <br />departments. In the event that an Emergency Central Dispatcher is required to perform matron <br />duties, the Dispatcher shall receive fifty dollars ($50.00) per prisoner. <br />For the purpose of this contract, matron duties shall be defined as any time a dispatcher is requested <br />to assist with a female prisoner, including but not limited to: prisoner pat downs, prisoner searches, <br />clothing change outs, witnessing/collecting urine samples, acting as a female witness for male <br />officers who request a female be present, monitoring prisoner showers and taking prisoners to the <br />restroom. <br />SECTION 2. The City agrees to at least two (2) hours of training on proper search and defense <br />procedures each year. Additionally, the City agrees to provide in-house training and education <br />with respect to Matron duties. All reasonable requests for training and education for relevant <br />schooling will be considered, but not unreasonably denied. <br />ARTICLE 35: <br />WAIVER IN CASE OF EMERGENCY <br />SECTION 1. In case of emergency declared by the President of the United States, the Governor <br />of the State of Ohio, the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted, the Federal or State Legislature, <br />such as acts of God and civil disorder, the following conditions of this Agreement shall <br />automatically be suspended: <br />33 <br />4882-1615-2807, v.5 <br />
