The Frostville Museum is hosting a winter farm market every Saturday in the month of November from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. Leaf pickup. Leaf collection started on October 28th. The program this year started on the west side of the City and will move east, making three passes throughout the city. The ultimate goal is to cover each area every seven to 12 working days. There may be times when the schedule is a little bit faster or slower, depending on factors that are beyond our control, but that is the general hope for the program. To ensure efficient service, please have your leaves out as soon as possible, ideally before 7 a.m., 3Z has 9 to 12 leaf collection crews that work 5 to 6 days a week, including when it's raining or snowing. They do take a break on Thanksgiving. Their workday typically ends between 3 and 4 p.m. If leaf collection begins on your street but is not completed, 3Z will resume from where they left off the following day. I have officially proclaimed Saturday, November 30, 2024 as Small Business Saturday in the City of North Olmsted. I encourage everyone to patronize our many small businesses here in North Olmsted. They are at the heart of our community and certainly deserve our support, not only during the holiday season, but all year round, and Mr. President, that concludes my report.
