Councilman Limpert, Chairman of the Building, Zoning, and Development Committee, do you <br />have a report this evening? <br />Building, Zoning and Development Committee <br />Councilman Limpert: <br />I do, Mr. President. Thank you. The Building, Zoning, and Development Committee met on the <br />22nd of October at 7:05 p.m. Present were Committee Members Limpert, Glassburn, Council <br />members Gilchrist, Madden, Scarl, Shymske, the Law Director, Finance Director, HR Director, <br />Economic Development Director, Service Director, Special Assistant to the Mayor, and guests. <br />On the agenda first was PDC Case 65-2024, Ohio Junk Force. This is a new building and a new <br />company coming to our community, which will include the proposal to approve four variances <br />by the Building and Zoning Board of Appeals related to setbacks, reduction in parking spaces, <br />and utility easement. The motion to recommend PDC Case 65-2024 passed in Committee by a <br />vote of 2-0. <br />Mr. President, at this time I'd like to make a motion to recommend PDC Case 65-2024, Ohio <br />Junk Force, to all of Council and ask for a second. <br />Councilman Glassburn: <br />Second. <br />Council President Brossard <br />Motion to approve PDC Case 65-2024 made by Councilman Limpert, seconded by Councilman <br />Glassburn. Roll call, please. <br />Council Clerk: <br />Mr. Limpert: Yes <br />Mr. Glassburn: Yes <br />Ms. Gilchrist: Yes <br />Mr. Madden: Yes <br />Mr. Shymske: Yes <br />Ms. Hemann: Yes <br />Mr. Scarl: Yes <br />Council President Brossard: <br />PDC Case 65-2024 is approved by a vote of 7-0 <br />Councilman Limpert: <br />Next on the agenda was PDC Case 44-2024, Bretton Beverage. This is a re -institution of a drive- <br />thru that had been available from previous businesses' ownership. As part of the proposal, the <br />BZBA committee recommended removal of some LED lights on the overhead, a clearance of <br />materials in the front besides for an ice chest, and also a notation of one-way entry. <br />11-06-24 Council Meeting Minutes - Page 4 <br />
