Those, after being reviewed and discussed, were approved by a vote of 2-0 by the Committee
to recommend all Council, and Mr. President, at this time I'd like to make a motion to
recommend PDC Case 44-2024 and ask for a second.
Councilman Glassburn:
Second.
Council President Brossard:
Motion to approve PDC Case 44-2024 made by Councilman Limpert, seconded by Councilman
Glassburn. Roll call, please.
Council Clerk:
Mr. Limpert: Yes
Mr. Glassburn: Yes
Ms. Hemann: Yes
Mr. Shymske: Yes
Mr. Madden: Yes
Mr. Scarl: Yes
Ms. Gilchrist: Yes
Council President Brossard:
PDC Case 44-2024 is approved by a vote of 7-0.
Councilman Limpert:
Then last on the agenda was Resolution 2024-102, Northeast Ohio Advanced Energy District,
which was a Resolution approving the Northeast Ohio Advanced Energy District Commercial
Industrial Program Project Plan and Northeast Ohio Advanced Energy Special Improvement
District Commercial Industrial Program Services Plan. This is a program that requires a $5,000
opt -in by the City for permanent membership of a coalition of communities that allows for
loans that can be used for energy improvement. This will be reviewed through Council and will
allow us to assess the loan amount through property taxes, and this is a benefit to the lender
and also enable for energy improvements to be improved or enabled. All of these will be
reviewed on a case-by-case basis. The Chair has a request out to understand what the
requirements are for a formal opt -out if we were to approve and enter into this coalition. The
decision by the Committee was to make a recommendation for approval to all the Council by a
vote of 2-0, and the Building, Zoning and Development Committee concluded at 7:41 p.m. Mr.
President, this concludes my report, but I would like a moment of personal privilege?
11-06-24 Council Meeting Minutes - Page 5
