deficit amount for 2024, at worst case scenario, would be $400,000; which the year <br />before R was nearly $1 million, and then 22 and 23, so that's good. It's more from an <br />increase in ticket fines and court activity, rather than cost-cutting in this scenario for this <br />year. But each city is limited to what the 2023 distribution. So our risk for the end of this <br />year is only $27,342.00. So the rest of it is picked up by the other communities, and <br />whatever's left of that, the City of Rocky River has to pick up. So first, the Finance Committee met on November 12, 2024, at 7:03 p.m. <br />Present were Committee Members Glassburn and Scarl, Council Members Brossard, Gilchrist, <br />Hemann, Madden, and Shymske. <br />• First on the agenda was Resolution 2024-105, which is a Resolution directing the Fiscal <br />Officer of Cuyahoga County to pay to the City of North Olmsted, Ohio, during the year <br />2025 all monies due and owing said city from any collection source, and declaring an <br />emergency. The City wanted to receive their money, and we, as the Finance Committee <br />approved, recommended for approval by vote of 2-0. <br />• Next on the agenda was Ordinance 2024-106, which is an Ordinance to authorize the <br />execution of Then and Now Certificates by the Finance Director and the payment of <br />amounts due to various purchasing orders and declaring emergency.
