vii. Short-term bicycle parking spaces may be located either on -site or in the <br />public right-of-way, provided the necessary permit is obtained for the <br />installation, and it meets all other requirements of the law. If bicycle racks <br />are located in the public right-of-way, they must provide at least five feet <br />of pedestrian clearance and be at least two feet from the curb. <br />C. Modification of Requirements. <br />In the event that satisfying the requirements for bicycle parking would be <br />infeasible due to the unique nature of the site or causing an impact that <br />undermines the purpose of the Overlay District, the Planning and Design <br />Commission may reduce the number of bicycle parking spaces required; <br />however, in no case shall the requirement be less than two (2) spaces. <br />SECTION 1150.09 ACCESS, CIRCULATION, AND CONNECTIVITY STANDARDS. <br />A. General Provisions. <br />Applicability; The Access, Circulation, and Connectivity Standards shall apply to all <br />projects developed under the regulations of the MAMU Overlay District. <br />B. Access and Roadway Plan Required. <br />An Access and Roadway Plan shall be submitted for the entire development site. The <br />Access and Roadway Plan shall demonstrate compliance with the standards of this <br />section and shall include the following items: <br />a. A site plan showing the location and layout of all existing and proposed streets, <br />alleys, driveways, inter -parcel connections, or other connections and traffic <br />circulation on or adjacent to the entire development site. <br />b. Existing access drives on adjacent parcels and any stub street for future access <br />and connectivity. <br />C. Newly proposed streets shall be clearly identified as either public or private <br />streets and as either primary or secondary streets. <br />C. General Standards. <br />a. Existing and/or proposed streets, public and private, together with open <br />spaces, are required to comprise a contiguous pedestrian network throughout <br />development sites and the adjacent public ROW. <br />b. All roads within or abutting a development shall be categorized as either a <br />primary street or a secondary street. <br />JANUARY 24, 2025 <br />
