Council President Brossard: Motion to suspend the rules requiring three readings and formal committee review for Resolution 2025-126 is made by Councilwoman Hemann and seconded by Councilman Limpert. Roll call, please. Council Clerk: Ms. Hemann: Yes Mr. Lim pert: Yes Mr. Madden: Yes Mr. Marrie: Yes Ms. Gilchrist: Yes Mr. Shymske: Yes Mr. Scarl: Yes Council President Brossard: All right, that motion passes by a vote of 7-0. If there is anyone in the audience who wishes to address Council regarding Resolution 2025-126 only, please approach the podium now. Councilwoman Hemann: Seeing none, I'd like to make a motion to adopt 2025-126 and ask for a second. Councilman Limpert: Second. Director, thank you for everything, always, for being a business friend and a friend. Everything you've loaned me, when mine come to town and everything you've shared. Thank you. I'm going to grandstand a little bit here, but the City Charter makes our Finance Director an elected position, and not many communities have that, but I think it's a significant benefit that we have here, and I think it really enables the Finance Director to not only really, ultimately, be accountable for the residents of the City, and not necessarily Administration or a Council, and it also makes them more apt to collaborate and be transparent with both the Administration and Council, and I think Ms. Copfer has epitomized that throughout her time here, not only for the 12 years I've been here, but long beyond that from people that I've talked to who have previously been serving here in the City.
