President Pro Tempore Scarl: Thank you Mayor. We will now be moving into Council Committee reports. Councilman Limpert, Chairman of the Public Safety, Health and Welfare Committee, do you have a report this evening? Public Safety, Health and Welfare Committee Councilman Limpert: I do Mr. President, thank you. The Public Safety Health and Welfare Committee met Tuesday May 26t" at 7:00 p.m. Present were Committee Members Limpert, Shymske, and Madden. Also present were Council Members Carr, Gilchrist, Marrie and Scarl. Also present were the Mayor Finance Director, HR Director, Service Director, Recreation Director, Wastewater Treatment Superintendent and guests. • Discussed first was Resolution 2026-43, which is a Resolution to authorize the Director of Human Resources to solicit requests for qualifications for civil service testing companies for promotional testing and pre -hire assessments for the Division of Police and Fire, and that motion was recommended to be adopted by a vote of 3-0. • Next on the agenda was Liquor Permit 10011993-1, Shell Shop located at 23385 Lorain Road. The police notified there was no issue from their perspective with the permit request, and the Committee motion to not object by a vote of 3-0, and the Committee Meeting concluded at 7:05 p.m. Mr. President, at this time I'd like to make a motion to not object to Liquor Permit 10011993-1, Shell Shop, located at 23385 Lorain Road, and ask for a second. Councilman Shymske: Second.
