investigation into First Energy's repeated service failures throughout North Olmsted. We remain committed to advocating for our residents and pushing for accountability and dependable service. As always, I would like to thank our department heads, our city employees, and everyone who continues to contribute to making North Olmsted a strong and vibrant community. The work happening throughout our city is the result of a dedicated team and I appreciate everyone's continued commitment to serving our residents. Thank you, Mr. President. Council President Brossard: Thank you. Assistant Director of Law O'Malley, do you have a report this evening? Assistant Law Director O'Malley: Mr. President, yes I do. At the Law Director's suggestion, breaking with tradition, I do have a report. There are two lawsuits that I want to report on. One is the City of North Olmsted v. CommuteAir. This is a lawsuit seeking to recover $91,000 on a failed job creation grant. CommuteAir entered a job creation grant in 2017. They vacated the city in, I believe, 2025. The contract provided for a claw back provision. We're trying to recover two years' worth of tax breaks that they obtained. And, of course, they have many positions in defense and in explanation. I won't get into those. The second lawsuit... and by the way, that's Case Number 26-143041, and it's in Cuyahoga County. The other lawsuit I want to report on is the city has been sued by a gentleman named David Godomsky. He sued the city over his receipt of numerous parking infractions. Recently amended the suit to include constitutional and damage claims. It's been referred to insurance counsel. We have not one but two different insurance carriers examining the coverage. That's Case Number 26-140068. The city has many defenses and responses to these allegations, but I won't get into those details here and now, and, Mr. President, that concludes my report. Council President Brossard: Thank you. Director of Finance Radeff, do you have a report this evening? Finance Director Radeff: I do, Mr. President. Thank you. Our 2025 Annual Comprehensive Financial Report received a clean opinion from our auditor. Additionally, the city's eight -page Popular Annual Financial Report has been completed. It has been posted to our website for public access and is currently being printed and prepared for mailing to residents.
