Thank you. Councilman Scarl, Chairman of the Finance Committee. Do you have a report this evening? Councilman Scarl: I do, Mr. President. Thank you. The Finance Committee meeting met this evening on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at 7:10 p.m. Present were Council President Brossard, Committee Members Scarl, Limpert, Marrie. Council Members Gilchrist, Shymske, Madden, the Mayor, Assistant Law Director, Directors of Finance, HR, Economic Development, Safety, Service, Recreation, Chief of Staff, and the Chief of Police. The Finance Committee discussed Resolution 2026-54, the selection of Clark, Schaefer, Hackett, and Company to serve as the independent public accountants for the Auditor of State's annual audits of the City of North Olmsted. Director Radeff stated that the Auditor of State made a recommendation to have Clark, Schaefer, Hackett, and Company to serve as our auditor for an upcoming five-year term to commence in 2027, and that he concurs with that recommendation. The Committee favorably recommended Resolution 2026-54 to Council, and the Finance Committee concluded at 7:12 p.m., and that concludes my report, Mr. President.
