building is going to be our income tax code, which we have 100% credit for. So I'm concerned that maybe that hasn't been taken into account when you're looking at revenue projections that most likely the only people that would pay any income tax to that district would be the people that work in the district and live in the district. Everything else would fall under the 2% credit of 100% credit, so if they worked in Cleveland, the district gets nothing. If they worked in North Olmsted, the district gets nothing, so therefore, I'm concerned that that may also impact the success of this, and there's no, it's basically for 25 years, whatever the expenses are and excess of the revenues, we're responsible for. Albeit 25% with this amendment, but I'm concerned about it, and I think that maybe it would behoove us to look a little further into what those costs of this JEDD District were gonna be. I'm also, I am happy that you limited it to 25 years, that you didn't let it continually renew indefinitely. I appreciate that, and also, I'm a little concerned about the formation of the board, but if we're at the 25% risk, one vote to five members of the board, okay. Council President Brossard: Carrie, I'm sorry. That's five minutes. Ms. Carrie Copfer: You know what, I was wondering when you're... you don't have a countdown or anything. Council President Brossard: We should. We'll include that in the budget. Ms. Carrie Copfer: But that basically sums it up, and so I'm respectfully asking you to take it back into committee and delve into it a little further before you pass it. Thank you. Mr. Jeff Sturgeon: Jeff Sturgeon, 3092 West 231. 1 wrote down a few of my thoughts today because I wanted to make sure I said them clearly. First, I'd like to thank Councilman Marrie, for giving me the opportunity to share my thoughts at the last Committee Meeting. I appreciate you taking the time to listen. I want to thank Council, the Administration, and everyone who helped initiate this JEDD agreement and bring it together. Although I had hoped for a 50/50 revenue split, I believe this is a positive step for North Olmsted. I am pleased about the additional revenue this agreement will bring to our City, and I'm glad to see North Olmsted and Olmsted Township working together. I support this effort, and I want to see it succeed. Thank you. And also, just a quick thing for what Carrie was saying, correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought the, she was talking about the tax... collecting tax. I thought if you lived in the JEDD, that you didn't have to pay any for the way the Ohio law was written. I thought that you didn't have to... I thought that was for business only, I didn't think that was for residents? That's how I understood the Ohio law, I could be wrong. Thank you.
